Laurent-Perrier Brut, Champagne, France

91 points Wine Enthusiast
Laurent-Perrier’s dry style is reflected in this crisp, elegant and fine Champagne. The character is mineral, taut, with a great burst of citrus and white fruit acidity. The ensemble creates a delicious food-friendly wine.    (12/ 2011)
90 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar
Vivid yellow. Fresh pear and yellow apple on the perfumed nose and in the mouth. In a chewy, expansive style, but with good clarity and thrust. The pear note repeats on the persistent finish, which leaves notes of toasty lees, iodine and honeysuckle behind.    (12/ 2013)
Connoisseurs Guide
Steering a little more toward yeast than it does to fruitiness, but never giving up to dryness, this straightforward Brut shows a bit of brioche sweetness set atop a slightly citrusy note and more subtle suggestions of minerals. It is continuous without being all that effusive, and only a minor touch of late-arriving coarseness holds it back from higher marks.    (12/ 2013)
Jancis Robinson
Very classic. Tight and citrussy, with good length. Crisp and defined. Cut on Savile Row.    (5/ 2012)
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate
Laurent Perrier’s NV Brut is an attractive wine laced with ripe pears, apricots, dried flowers and spices. The soft, caressing style is best enjoyed over the next few years.    (11/ 2011)
Wine Spectator
Grainy pear, spring blossom and almond notes lead the way in this balanced version. Open-knit and accessible, with a fresh, moderate finish. Drink now. (Web-2013)
