Variety: 100% Malbec
History: Rutini is a part of one the biggest winery called “La Rural” and is also one of the oldest wineries in Argentina. Since its foundation in 1885, the Rutini winery has been noted for the outstanding quality and character of its wines. Uniting a long winemaking tradition with the desire for constant evolution and innovation, Rutini Wines are today recognized as one of Argentina’s most prominent and successful wine producers.
Color: Deep violet red, inky.
Aroma: Dense with attractive berry aromas and a touch of cinnamon and sweet spice.
Palate: Excellent body, intense tannins, flavors of cherry, blackberry, boysenberry and plum intermingled with hints of cardamom and pepper, and a long, full finish.
Ageing: 7 months in 20% new American oak, 20% new French oak and 60% second and third use American oak.
Food pairing: Red meats such as beef cooked medium rare, pastas with rich sauces, lamb, hot pizza topped with Italian sausage, mushrooms and olives.
Ideal Serving Temperature: 16 -18 °C
Shelf life: 3-4 years
